White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Announces Birth of Baby Girl Viviana

Press Secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, gave birth to her second child, a baby girl by the name of Viviana (nicknamed Vivi) on May 1, 2026. Karoline, who became the leading spokesman upon President Trump’s return to office, has revealed the news via Instagram, where she explained how her eldest son, Niko, was adjusting to his new role as an older brother. Though she will still be taking her maternity leave, other members of the administration, such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have taken up the task of holding press conferences until she returns from leave. Karoline had briefly suspended her maternity leave in mid-April to give a statement regarding the recent shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
